The Colosseum will host the ‘Göbekli Tepe’ exhibition

In Italy’s significant Roman structure, the Colosseum, replicas of three artifacts unearthed from the Göbekli Tepe excavations, which are referred to as the zero point of history, will be displayed in their exact stone dimensions. Additionally, a short version of the films shown at the Göbekli Tepe Visitor Center will be presented with Italian subtitles for a duration of six months.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism will showcase replicas of three stone artifacts from Göbekli Tepe, along with a shortened version of the films shown at the Göbekli Tepe Visitor Center with Italian subtitles, at the Colosseum in Rome for six months.

According to information obtained by an AA reporter, mutual consultations took place following the visit of Alfonsina Russo, the Director of the Colosseum and the Archaeological Area of the Roman Forum, to Türkiye at the invitation of the Ministry.

The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums has arranged for the Italian subtitled shortened versions of the films and the replicas of the three artifacts to be displayed at the Colosseum.
