
Türkiye’s Popular Zeus Cave in Kuşadası Reopens After Safety Measures
The Zeus Cave, located in the Kuşadası district of Aydın and captivating visitors with its natural beauty, had been temporarily closed for safety reasons. This popular spot within the Dilek Peninsula-Great Menderes Delta National Park has now reopened its doors following meticulous work.
The cave was closed to visitors as a precaution against identified risks of landslides and soil erosion in the area. Following risk analysis reports conducted by the National Park Directorate, the determined hazards led to necessary renovation and improvement works, prioritizing the safety of citizens.

Officials from the Dilek Peninsula-Great Menderes Delta National Park Directorate made an announcement regarding the reopening of the cave. The statement included the following: “As a result of the Workplace Risk Analysis Report prepared by our Directorate, it was determined that there was a risk of landslides and soil erosion at and around the entrance of the Zeus Cave, which is within the responsibility area of our National Park Directorate. Following the necessary work and renovations carried out to eliminate these risks, the Zeus Cave has been reopened to our guests. Our visitors can experience this unique natural beauty between 08:00 and 17:00.”

Known for its natural pool and mythological stories, the Zeus Cave is once again ready to welcome its visitors.
